She is survived by: her significant other Tim Porter; her children, Jennifer Harmon (Jerry) and Dave Koester (Susannah); her sister Joyce Akers (Kim); and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, Jonas Koester, Maggie Koester and Madaleine McPhail.
