He was predeceased by: his sisters, Christine Dees, Glenda Cory, Wanda Rea and Mary Groman. He is survived by: his sons, Stan Eden (Leanne) and John Eden (Kelly); his spouse Donna Hutson; his sister Ruth Mustaine of Springfield, Missouri; his granddaughters, Ashley Smith of Arlington, Courtney Eden of Plymouth and Amy Uptergrove of Mascoutah, Illinois; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Emma, Isabelle, Olivia and Sophia Uptergove; and also Keith Tenney of Foristell.
