It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minnie H. (Cordray) Deweese (Indian Grove, Missouri), born in Brookfield, Missouri, who passed away on January 19, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Marie Cordray (Packham) and Charles Cordray; and her siblings, Helen Kelsey, Marshall Cordray, Virginia Troya and Jack Cordray.
She is survived by: her spouse Major DeWeese; her children, Major DeWeese, Jr. of Brunswick, MO, Margo Arp (Dennis) of Brunswick, MO and Wayne DeWeese (Shirley) of Bennetsville, SC; and her grandchildren, Shaune Kingsolver of Kansas City, MO, Dawn Peterson (Troy) of Liberty, MO, Brian Arp of Columbia, MO, Shannon Arp of Independence, MO and John Carroll of Bennetsville, SC. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to Powell Cemetery.
