He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Ahmann and William "Bill" Ahmann; and his brother-in-law Ronald Holmes. He is survived by: his sister Mary "Peggy"; his nephews, Ryan Holmes (family: Anya, Thomas, Hayden) and Tanner Holmes (family: Sarah); his niece Allison Holmes (family: Nick, Mia, Makenna, Nicco, Rocco); his close friend Charley Payton; his friend John Ross; and his cousin Steve Coil.
