It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William J. Shinn of Independence, Missouri, born in Murray, Iowa, who passed away on June 19, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Clyde and Anna Gertrude Shinn (Patterson); and his son Bryan Shinn. He is survived by: his wife Margo Shinn; his daughters, Allison Shinn of Independence, Sherril Shinn of Independence and Jeri Ann Mullendore of Independence; his grandsons, Bryan Easley (Victoria) of Blue Springs, MO, Adam Easley of Independence, Hunter Mullendore of Independence and William Mullendore of Independence; his great grandchildren, Dylan, Jakob and McKenzie of Blue Springs; and his brother Gene Shinn (Minnie) of Blue Springs. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
