He was predeceased by: his former wife Ruth Ann; his wife Thelma DeLois; and his brothers, Ralph, Edgar, Robert and Floyd.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Watkins (Nannette) and Nancy Gossett (Gary Stephenson); his stepchildren, Sandra Eldridge (Jim), Michael Lundquist (Kathy) and Beverly Miller; his grandchildren, Daniel Gossett (Gina), Eric Balin-Watkins (P. J.) and Stacy Hiebl (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Oliver, Michael, Nicholas, Benjamin and Cassie.
