He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Earl Francis and Genevieve M. Hougas Francis; and his wife Jeanne Patrice Kelley. He is survived by: his children, Joel of Kansas City and Julia of Brooklyn, N. Y.; his grandson Simon of Kansas City; his sister Bonnie Avery (Ontario) of Mississauga; and his children-in-law, Able Parris and Rachel Beckett Francis. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews and cherished friends.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Community of Christ (4341 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64133).
