He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Milton Lewis and Margaret Frances White Lewis; his wife Linda Lewis; and his siblings, Cecil, Bob, Roy, Kenny Lewis, Cora Lewis, Velma Shackles, Lena Taylor, Luetta Novak and Bea Cole.
