With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vita Margaret Totta of Independence, Missouri, who passed away on January 4, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Carrie and Steve Barber (Jay); her daughter Frances Jean; and her parents, Sicilian and Vita Barber (Tamburello).
She is survived by: her husband Jay Totta (Jasper); her children, Vincent (Melinda), Mary (Greg), Vita (Tom), Antonia (Larry) and Anthony (Brandi); and her grandchildren, Vincent (Brandi), Tommy (Dillia), Shauna (Justin), Gregory (Angela), Michael (Bridget), Samantha (Parker), Samuel (Tia), Steven (Jenna), John Jay (Jessica), Jillian (Aaron), Sarah, Jenna and Aria.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation to the Vita M. Totta Memorial Scholarship Fund, care of Blue Ridge Bank and Trust, 4200 Little Blue Parkway, Independence MO 64057.
