He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Mallett (Titus) and Clarence "Leon" Mallett; his stepmother Mildred "Millie" Mallett; his brothers, Jeff Mallett and Terry Mallett; and his stepsister Wanda Benefiel.
He is survived by: his daughter Laurie Carpenter (Chris); his grandchildren, Braden Mallett-Jennings and Jaden Mallett-Jennings; his brother Danny Mallett (Lynn); and his sister-in-law Celia Chilson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and "adopted" daughters.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Church (1915 N Liberty St, Independence, MO 64050). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Memory Gardens (18301 E Salisbury Rd, Independence, MO 64056). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Grace Church (1915 N Liberty St, Independence, MO 64050).
