He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Thomas and Jeanne Reitan (Johnson); and his siblings-in-law, Bill Blankenship, Paul Yandle, Rosalie Shamp and Pat Buehler.
He is survived by: his wife Janie; his children, Steve Reitan (Judy) of Buckeye, AZ, Carla Hartley (Shawn) of Independence, MO, Raymond Hartley of Richmond, MO and Jennifer Reitan (Anne) of Omaha, NE; his brothers, John Reitan of Lakeville, MN and David Reitan (Kathy) of Andover, MN; his grandchildren, Ryley, Carter (Kayla), McGwire, Cole, Jae, Sae, Alex, Grae and Payton; his nieces and nephews, Andi (Tommy), Theresa (Chad), Jason (Kaela) and Billy Blankenship (Kat); his great-niece Laney; and his brothers-in-law, Raymond Yandle, Jr. of Independence, MO and Steven Yandle of Clinton, MO..
