She was predeceased by: her parents, Ray Calhoun and Josephine Calhoun; her husband Virgil; her daughter Markita Reynolds; her son-in-law Jim Griffin; her siblings, Carolden Strickland and Ray Calhoun; and her granddaughters, Christina Paddock and Lenetta Watts.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Griffin, Cynthia Alexander (Donald) and David Hatfield; and her son-in-law Bill Reynolds. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
