It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sherry L. Magel of Independence, Missouri, who passed away on October 25, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shelton (Corkey) and Betty Shelton (Murphy); her son Jonathan Paul Sloan; and her brother John Richard Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Roy Sloan; her daughter Nichole Williams (Brad) of Lee's Summit; her daughter-in-law Jana Sloan of Blue Springs; her siblings, Judy Moorman (Roger) of Windsor, CO and Reverend Robert Shelton (Sandy) of Plattsburg; her sister-in-law Terri Shelton of San Diego, CA; and her grandchildren, Christopher Sloan, Christian Sloan, Riley Williams, Talan Williams and Nick Williams. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other family members.
