It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth I. Sanders (Independence, Missouri), born in Kenmare, North Dakota, who passed away on January 14, 2019, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Knudson and Esther Knudson (Dodge); and her spouse Odis Sanders. She is survived by: her children, Chad Sanders (Nichelle) of Independence, Lisa Sanders of Independence and Lanette Engdahl (Jay) of Mandan; her stepson Gene Sanders (Marlene) of Paradise, TX; and her siblings, Margaret Overby of Seattle, WA, Harold Knudson of Deering, ND and Clarence Knudson of Minot, ND.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
