Spicer of Independence, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harry D. Spicer; her parents, Mildred Yacks (Oscar) and Richard H. Travis (Hilda); her brother Ronald Yacks; her son Philip Spicer; and her grandsons, Sam Spicer, B. J. Siler and Douglas Spicer.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Spicer, Larry Spicer (Cheryl), Steven Spicer and Susan Siler (Bruce). She is also survived by nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; a sister; two brothers; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to St. Luke's Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. in Ruth's honor.
