She was predeceased by: her parents, David Johnson and Mae Johnson (Smith); her husband Virtus Bodenstab of Topsy's Café; and her sister Donna Johnson. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Bodenstab (Alease), Todd Bodenstab (Johnna) and Barry Bodenstab; her grandchildren, Cameron Bodenstab, Cole Bodenstab, Lindsey Kalbfleish (Matthew) and Tyler Bodenstab (Alexis); her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Rowan Kalbfleish, Macy and Laurel Bodenstab; her brothers, David Johnson, Danny Johnson, Rick Johnson and Donald Johnson; and her pet Penny.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church or the Independence Animal Shelter.
