With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roderick A. Gonzales (Independence, Missouri), born in Topeka, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 22, 2024 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Mathew Gonzales; his father Al Gonzales; his nephew Jordan Barranco; and his grandson Rex Funez. He is survived by: his mother Grace Gonzales; his wife Tina Gonzales; his children, Marisa, Alan, Jacob Gonzales, Andrew, Ambrosias, Allasandra, Arianna and Anastasia Gerber; and his grandchildren, Viviana Lilia Aurora, Graciela Mattie Isabel Gonzales, Paisley, Aiden, Amara, Esmeralda, Laila, Arabella, Alec and Sophia Grace.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Rod's memory to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital, an organization that was close to his heart.
