It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Hightower of Independence, Missouri, who passed away on March 20, 2022, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Hightower and Barbara Jean Lancaster; and his siblings, Karon (Billy Cole) and Rainbow Hightower. He is survived by: his wife Joy Hightower; his children, Jake Hightower (Katy) of Pleasant Hill, MO and Kasey McGill (Josh) of Moscow Mills, MO; his siblings, Mike Morton (Sue) of Quitman, AR and Bobbi Hedger (Todd) of Greenwood, MO; his nephews, Eric Hightower (Nicole) of Pleasant Hill, MO. and Adam Hightower (Daryle) of Quincy, IL; and his uncle Gary Hightower (Cathy) of Shawnee Mission, KS..
