It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Dale Pennington of Independence, Missouri, born in Bosworth, Missouri, who passed away on June 25, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Pennington and Clara Pennington (Potter); and his children, Daniel Pennington, Teresa Florez and Katherine Hartford.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Michael Pennington, Sheryl Janeski (Mike), Lisa Orndorff (Jeff) and Stephen Plake; and his siblings, Fern Minnis, Bobby Gardner (Ruth Ann) and Harold Blane Gardner (Nancy). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sycamore Hills Baptist Church.
