It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard James Sartin of Independence, Missouri, born in Saint Charles, Missouri, who passed away on October 19, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Nay and Irene Hope Sartin; and his wife Nilene Sartin. He is survived by: his siblings, Karen Sue "Suzy" Collet, Nancy Gail Sartin and Michael Allen Sartin; his children, Chad (Stacey Sartin), Jared Sartin and Jaime Swinney (Samuel Matzke); his grandchildren, Ryland James Sartin, Brantley Michael Sartin, Finley Nicole Sartin, Ava Rose Matzke and Amelia Rae Matzke; and his son-in-law Wesley Stewart.
