He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Hicks and Cora Hicks; his wife Lorene Hicks; his sisters, Vera Reherman and Dorothy Curtis; his son Mike Hicks; and his son-in-law Tom Keck.
He is survived by: his sisters, Maxine Filter and Shirley Hunziker; his daughter Darline Keck; his daughter-in-law Vicki Hicks; and his grandchildren, Pam Evans (Greg), Jeff Canterbury (Vicki), Elizabeth Tinsley, Ben Hicks (Heidi) and Katie Gross (Dan). He is also survived by twelve great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, two great-great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
