He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Otis Vest and Cecil Lee Vest; his wife Kathleen; his sons, Hugh Scott (Tracy) and David Randall (Julie); his grandchildren, Delaney Katelin Vest, Alexandra Marie Vest, David Randall Vest Jr. and Sibel Alpakin; his sisters, Debbie Spurling (Dan) and Virginia Ann Craven (Phil); his sister-in-law Erlene Vest; and his children, Enis Alpakin (Melek) and Sue Crosweller Gregory (Cameron). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
