It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip W. Culbertson (Independence, Missouri), who passed away on February 3, 2022, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Henry Culbertson; his daughter Andrea Lane Culbertson; his uncle Jim; and his aunt Nadine Boman. He is survived by: his mother Lois Culbertson (Thurmon); his wife Susan Starke; his children, Samantha, Levi Messer of Independence, MO, Doug, Kristi Culbertson of Chilhowee, MO, Jacob, Mara Culbertson of Merriam, KS, Eleanor Ann Culbertson, Evelyn Mae Culbertson, Olivia Marie Messer, Henry Robert Culbertson, Conrad Dutch Culbertson, Owen Marshall Culbertson, Boyd Walter Culbertson and Ruby Grace Messer; his brother Jerry Culbertson (Becky); his sisters-in-law, Margaret Andes (Mike) and Jackie Mann (Chad Derdich); his aunts, Velma Wright and Laura Vanarsdall; and also Nora Sue Messer. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, many cousins, nephews and nieces.
