He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Horace Roper (H. B.) and Ethel A. Roper (Stout); his wife Mary; his children, Benjamin P. Roper, Jr. and Theresa Lansdon (Art); his grandchildren, Patrick Lansdon (Lisa), Ryan Lansdon and Kathleen Lansdon; and his great grandchild Amelia Lansdon.
