She is survived by: her daughter Dana Benedict of Blue Springs; her stepgrandson Dalton Benedict of Buckner; her nephew Chris Atwood of Independence; and her goddaughter Shar-Ron Thomas of Kansas City.
Flowers are welcomed, because they made her smile, but the family requests that any donations made in lieu of flowers be made to the American Heart Association, the American Kidney Foundation, or the American Diabetes Foundation.
