He was predeceased by: his parents, August Eklund and Martha Eklund; his wife Patty; his brothers, Robert and Alan; his sister-in-law Verla Vivian; his sister Carrol; his daughter-in-law Debbie; and his sister-in-law Ina.
He is survived by: his children, Hope (Alan), Susan (Charles) and Eric; his grandchildren, John (Lisa), Brooke (David), Jana (Aaron), Katie (Brian), Jennifer (Ryan), James, Jill (Rob) and Spencer (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Nickolaus and Tristan; his grandchildren, Jackson, Caden, Davin, Savannah, Myles, Pierce, Madilyn, Gabriella, Lauren, Cara, Joseph, Lukas, Kole and Ryker; and his sister-in-law Carol Darlene. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Church of Jesus Christ, Oak Grove Restoration Branch.
