She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Morgan and Martha Elizabeth Boyles (Wilson); her husband Lawrence Reeves; her sons, Clarence "J. R." LaQuet and Lawrence Wayne "Larry" Reeves; and her siblings, Hazel Bogart (Boyles) and Charles Boyles.
She is survived by: her children, James Cornell of Lee's Summit, MO, Shirley Stroud (Jim) of Independence, MO and Linda Reeves of Clinton, MO; and her grandchildren, Sean Reeves, Opal and Lawrence. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
