He was predeceased by: his parents, Williard Horace and Thelma Frances Stapleton (Miller); and his brother Greg Stapleton. He is survived by: his children, Shannon Stapleton-Manning of Independence, MO, Jeffrey Stapleton of Fayetteville, NC, Mary Beth Pecina (Chris) of Independence, MO, David Stapleton (Nicole) of Leavenworth, KS and Christina Miller (Nick) of Grain Valley, MO.; and his former wife Dorothy Stapleton.
