With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Norma Rae Cox of Independence, Missouri, born in Liberal, Missouri, who passed away on October 3, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Katherine L. Salmons (McCabe) and Vincil Salmons; her granddaughter Courtney Michelle Cox; and her daughter-in-law Tammy Cox. She is survived by: her husband Walter S. Cox; her son Reverend Chris Cox of Hardin, Missouri; her grandchildren, Brooklyn Shields (Tim) and J. David Cox; her great grandchild Dawson Cox; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Dylan, Hali Shields and Waylon.
