Payne of Independence, MO; his siblings, Steve Smith (Diane) of Independence, MO and Nancy McQuillan (Joe) of Independence, MO; his brother-in-law Geoff Clark of Excelsior Springs, MO; his nieces, Sarah Smith and Ashley McQuillan; and his nephew Alex McQuillan. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, cousin and other extended family.
