With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melody Sue Young (Independence, Missouri), who passed away on April 16, 2022 at the age of 43. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Sue Huffman Young; and her grandparents, Betty Huffman, Paul and Mildred Young. She is survived by: her father Warren Young; her sister Evie Rein (Jared Rein); her nieces, Natasha and Skylar Rein of Heber City, Utah.; and also Wanda Dunlap of Independence.

She happily sponsored several disadvantaged children through an international aid charity, impacting their lives for a healthy childhood and education.
