She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tierney, Sr. and Pauline Tierney (Hutchinson); her husband Eugene Scassellati, Jr.; and her siblings, Patricia Hopper, Thelma Laidler, Helen Maxwell, Elizabeth Davidson, William Tierney, Jr. and Thomas Tierney, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Scassellati (Mick Clark) of Liberty, MO, Eugene Scassellati III (Jaymie) of Blue Springs, MO, Jeff Scassellati (Linda) of Blue Springs, Joe Scassellati (Connie) of Liberty, MO and Dan Scassellati (Cindy) of Blue Springs, MO; and her sister Anna Meyer (Jerry) of Arma, KS. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and twenty-six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Margaret's honor to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Independence, MO.
