She was predeceased by: her parents, L. D. Patterson and Estelle Patterson; her son John W. Hoss; her brother Dannie Patterson (Earlene); her sister-in-law Jane Patterson; and her son-in-law Donald Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Rhodes, Brenda Brown and Olathe; and her brothers, Leonard D. Patterson and Richard Patterson of Alabama. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (3736 S Lee's Summit Rd, Independence, MO 64055). A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Oak Ridge Memory Gardens (18301 E Salisbury Rd, Independence, MO 64056).
Family requests memorial contributions to Children's Mercy Hospital in lieu of flowers.
