She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Ferguson and Jennie Ferguson (Scott); and her sons, Robert Leon Simpson and Anderson Simpson, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Alyce Payne Independence (Samuel) and Sandra Patton (Michael). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
