He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard and Alta; his sister Arleta Coffelt; and his great-nephew Ross. He is survived by: his wife Gayle Hawley (Wilson) of Independence; his children, Doug Hawley (Kim) and Annette Stewart (Brandon); and his grandchildren, Claire, Faith Hawley, Cole and Reade Stewart.
