Marjorie Baskins Obituary
In loving memory of Marjorie Baskins of Independence, Missouri, who departed this world on April 10, 2025 at the age of 80. Marjorie leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Orman Trolinger and Ruth Irene Trolinger (Brown); her husband Roy Lee Baskins; her brother John Trolinger; her sister-in-law Leah Trolinger; and her great grandchild Demetrious Hall.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Lyn Katsulis (Paul), Lori J. Baskins, Michael Lee Baskins, Rebecca S. Baskins, Joshua Scott Baskins and Patricia A. Watts; her grandchildren, Sarah Ellen Hall (Seth), Amanda R. Hatfield, Megan F. Farris (James), Frank P. Katsulis (Gabby), Ellen C. Baskins, Joshua Scott Baskins, Jr., Logan Lee Baskins, Eric Dean Leal, Bethany RuthAnn Hunsel and Ella Grace Watts; her great grandchildren, Brynleigh, Daniel, Andrew, Shiloh, Leilani and Giovanni; her siblings, Bob Trolinger (Joyce), Dale Trolinger, Barbara Ross (Gale) and Kathy Trolinger; and her sister-in-law Jo Trolinger. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-nieces, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hadley Funeral Home (405 E Benton St, Windsor, MO 65360). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Laurel Oak Cemetery (501 Poplar Dr, Windsor, MO 65360).
A memorial has been established to benefit the children attending Cler-Mont Elementary School and contributions can be made payable to Lori Baskins in care of the funeral home.
