She was predeceased by: her parents, William Mawhiney and Eva Mawhiney (Cross); her former husband Richard Dixon; and her daughter Susan Brown. She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Miller; her children, Glen Dixon (Patty), Joyce Ashcraft (David), Steven Dixon and Phyllis Elliott; and her son-in-law Jim Brown. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family wishes that donations be made to Three Rivers Hospice.
