It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret E. Desmond of Independence, Missouri, born in Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Grover Desmond; her daughter Cindy O'Nale; her grandson Lane Michalski; and her sisters, Gerry Ford (Tag) and Rosalie Coulter (Kenny).

She is survived by: her children, Chip Lloyd (Leslie), Jody Melia (Don), Donna Kirkwood (Jerry) and Michelle Michalski (Dylan). She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, 7 great- grandchildren.
