In loving memory of Luella Jane Rew (Independence, Missouri), born in Kansas City, Missouri, who departed this world on December 28, 2024 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her father Lonzo Copenhaver; and her brother Lonzo J. Copenhaver. She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Copenhaver; her husband Raymond L. Rew of Kansas City; her children, Jamie Floyd (Jeff) of Gladstone, Kenneth Rew (Susan) of Blue Springs and Jason Rew (Tammy) of Lee's Summit; her grandchildren, Carter Floyd (Cambria), Cooper Rew, Ella and Adeline Rew; and her siblings, Patricia Briggs (Robert) of Gravois Mills and Lawrence Copenhaver (Cindy). She is also survived by her children, son-in-law, and four grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Speaks Suburban Chapel (18020 East 39th St S, Independence, MO 64055). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Contributions to the Northeast High School Raymond and Luella Rew Scholarship Fund are suggested in care of Speaks Funeral Home.
