She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Larry Vernon and Sylvia Ann Belk; her former husband Lance Alumbaugh; her husband Richard Porter; her mother-in-law Virginia Porter; her children, Audrey Tomiello (Matthew), Ashley Thompson (Damon) and Alec Belk; her sister-in-law April Sollars (Clint); her grandchildren, Rokczan Thompson, Vivianne Tomiello, Damon Thompson III, Gideon Tomiello and Aurora Thompson; her siblings, James Belk (Jeannie), Angela Lunceford (Tim), Diana Wenzel (Dean) and Shawn Belk (Shannon); her aunts, Patsy Brownlee and Sandra Young (Jack); her cousins, William Burton (Lori), John Young and Tina Young; her father-in-law Donald Burton; her grandparents, Forest, Sue Richmond, James and Pauline Belk; her uncle John Damron; and her aunt Rose Pipes. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews and extended family.
