We are sad to announce that on April 1, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Letha May Burton of Independence, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Carl; her brothers, Bill and Bob Hickam; and her son-in-law Michael R Scollin. She is survived by: her daughters, Laura (Greg Dorsch) and Linda (Patrick Kelly) of Independence, MO; her grandchildren, Michael Scollin (Brooke), Tim Dorsch (Aubrey), Teresa Dorsch, Jason Scollin (Kashena), Sean Kelly (Kelsey), Megan Kelly and Patrick Kelly; and her great grandchildren, Austin and Kenadie Scollin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Newcomer's Noland Road Chapel (509 S Noland Rd, Independence, MO 64050). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers you may donate to the First Baptist Church day care ministry or St. Judes Hospital.
