He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son-in-law Richard; his parents, Alexander Schafer and Clara Schafer; his wife Ariel Schafer; his children, Ronald Schafer of Wilmington, DE and Tammy Schafer of Independence; his brothers, Richard Schafer (Mary Kate), Larry Schafer (Karen) of Grand Junction, CO and Dean Schafer (Dorothy) of Sun City, AZ; his grandchildren, Eric, Lauren and Lindee; and his great grandchild Kinslee.
