It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laura L. Shockley of Independence, Missouri, born in West Fork, Arkansas, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Chamberlain and Odelle Chamberlain; her siblings, Vivian, Ruth, Irene, Janet (Tootie), Bob, Herbert, Jesse, Howard, Russell and Elmer Glen; her husband Sherman Shockley; and her son Kelly Shockley.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Shockley, Keith Shockley and Cherry DeWeese; and her niece Brooksie Bothwell. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
