It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kermit Hunt of Independence, Missouri, born in Bethany, Missouri, who passed away on March 17, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Cox; his children, Wally, Kevin Hunt, Cindy White (Mike), Doug, Steve (Carol) and Peggy Prettyman; and his brother-in-law Peter "Chip" Barbas (Becky). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made in Dale's name to Lone Jack Christian Church, 200 W Lone Jack Lees Summit Rd, Lone Jack, MO 64070.
