He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Hurt Gilpin and Ollie Christine (England); his parents-in-law, Jim and Janice Baker; and his siblings-in-law, Darren Baker (Carolyn) and Darla Cook.
He is survived by: his wife Debra Baker Gilpin; his siblings, Phyllis Yaglowski (Carl) and Dick Gilpin (Kathleen); his stepchildren, Elisha Beale Roberts, Betsy Roach (Austen), Caroline Myers (Gabe), Alanna Douglas Sunberg and Jacob Moody (Kyra); and his nieces and nephews, Julie Gilpin-McMinn (Randy), Heidi Neff (Jody), Debi Dobbins (Leiann), Steven Yaglowski (Becky), Mark Yaglowski (Kimberly), Dustin Baker, Andrew Baker and James Cook (Sara). He is also survived by family with nine grandchildren and twelve grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
A Ken Gilpin memorial has been established with Hope Church Youth Missions and Camp.
