It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Virginia Brown of Independence, Missouri, born in Unionville, Missouri, who passed away on December 30, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Boyd Davis and Thelma Davis (Coffman); her husband Donald Brown; her brother Boyd Yvon Davis; and her son-in-law Robert Yardley.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy, Teresa Yardley of Cameron, MO and Susanne Gibson (Kenny) of Independence, MO.; her grandchildren, Andrew Gibson (Evynn) of Buckner, MO, Kyle Yardley of Kansas City, MO and Erin Gibson of Independence, MO; her great grandchildren, Ryker, Raelyn and Brodhi Gibson; her brothers, Gary Davis (Connie) of Unionville, MO and Charles Davis (Joleen) of Kansas City, MO; and her sister-in-law Glendoris Crownover (Jack) of Independence, MO. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
