Karen S. Pyatt Obituary

Karen Sue Pyatt, 65, of Independence, Missouri passed away on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Service will be January 8, 2022 at 11am at Missionary Restoration Branch 3415 N Else Smith Rd Buckner, Mo. 64016.

Karen was born August 22, 1956 in St. Louis Missouri, daughter of Eugene and Martha (Banks) Manley. She moved to the Kansas city area in 1993 to be closer to her mom and siblings. The family of Karen describe her as being a pillar of strength, being selfless, and a guardian over all of them. It was important to her that her family was safe. She will be missed by all. Karen was also known for loving animals and always taking in new pets. Her 3 dogs and 2 cats will also be missing her presence.

Karen is survived by her mother Marty Blankenship, 5 siblings Nancy, Connie, Laura, Gary, Shanda. Karen also has 5 children Beverly, Elizabeth, Philip, Nick and Curt. Then 3 grandchildren Isaiah, Eve and Mary.
