It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Junior Lee Caruthers in Independence, Missouri, born in Oxford, Arkansas, who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Lee Caruthers and Lois Vesta Caruthers (Cantrell); and his sisters, Gwen Martin and Glenna Goodwin. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Caruthers.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations in Junior's memory to be made to an animal rescue organization, as Junior had a soft spot for animals, especially his beloved dog, Stripe.
