He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis "Frank" Leo Cox, Jr. and Mary Ellen Wunsch (Dealy); his grandparents, Francis "Frank" Leo Cox, Sr., Anna (Gill), Harry Dealy and Ellen (Bowles); his brother Francis "Frank" Leo Cox III; and his grandson Reign Francis Schulte.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sarah Wilhoit (Walker) of Blue Springs and Anna Schulte (Shawn) of Eldon, Missouri; his grandchildren, Lydia, Eli Wilhoit and Roman Schulte; and his siblings, Kenneth Hixon and Valerie Henderson (Michael).
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Eldon First Baptist Church (209 S Aurora St, Eldon, MO 65026). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Eldon, Missouri (209 S Aurora St, Eldon, MO 65026).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in John's name are suggested to be made in care of the family.
