He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Gracie Ellen Butler (Milstead); and his stepfather Otto Downey of Independence, MO.. He is survived by: his daughter Christine Blystone (Mike) of Independence, MO; his grandchildren, Cody Blystone of Independence, MO, Kelsey Schamback (Bradley) of Blue Springs, MO and Gage Knight of Grain Valley, MO; his great grandchild Emilynn Schamback; his former wives, Shirlene Oliver of Raytown, MO and Mary Butler of Lee's Summit, MO; and his stepmother Marybelle Butler of Overland Park, KS. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
